Abstract

I wanted to create a piece that captures every contrasting part of me. From her chest sprouts her veins, arteries, and blood vessels—the physical side of her composition. From her hair: decadent, metallic flowers that ground her to color and nature. Wrapped around her is a piano, for the love of music. On her face, streaks of paint, for the love of art. In the background, I have included my own handwritten notes from my cell biology course. She is every different part of me merged into one body, where the crashing elements become indistinguishable.
