I am interested in making art that touches on the experience of escapism and nostalgia. We know what video games look like on a screen, but I wonder what it would look like if we were to physically step into those worlds. What would our surroundings look like? How would it contrast with our reality? These are the questions I want a viewer to think about when they imagine themselves inside a video game. I want their experience to be exciting, colorful, and nostalgic.

Authors whose work is accepted and who publish with The University of Colorado Honors Journal agree to the following terms:

6. The Author agrees to indemnify and hold Publisher harmless from Author’s breach of the representations and warranties contained above, as well as any claim or proceeding relating to Publisher’s use and publication of any content contained in the Work, including third-party content.
