I am interested in making art that touches on the experience of escapism. When the audience views one of these pieces, a fantastical world can be created in their mind. I find dragons to be particularly interesting creatures. While they appear dangerous, their beauty and strength are most important. Creating this sculpture was my method of bringing an incredible creature to life. My inspiration comes from the fiction novels I have read. Books where there are castles, kings and dragons are what influence my artistic imagination.

Authors whose work is accepted and who publish with The University of Colorado Honors Journal agree to the following terms:

6. The Author agrees to indemnify and hold Publisher harmless from Author’s breach of the representations and warranties contained above, as well as any claim or proceeding relating to Publisher’s use and publication of any content contained in the Work, including third-party content.
