L'Amor Che Move Il Sole E L'Altre Stelle

Written during my study abroad in Florence, I wrote this piece while I was actively denying my falling into love. As a stubborn cynic, I refused to accept that the man I had met on my solo trip abroad was becoming more and more significant in my life. I imagined that these gross, gushy feelings that were developing were a physical infliction that I couldn't escape. My writing professor, upon editing, described this piece as a "Cronenberg Love Story," which I feel perfectly sums up the semi-body horror blended with a sweet love story.

Authors whose work is accepted and who publish with The University of Colorado Honors Journal agree to the following terms:

6. The Author agrees to indemnify and hold Publisher harmless from Author’s breach of the representations and warranties contained above, as well as any claim or proceeding relating to Publisher’s use and publication of any content contained in the Work, including third-party content.
